We are the Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Pittsburgh Democratic Socialists of America (PGH DSA)

We work to build and wield political power for the working class in order to facilitate the transition to a truly democratic and socialist society.

We believe a better world is possible, and one of the ways we can make it happen is by electing people who are truly on the side of the working class and committed to fighting for our collective liberation.

We endorse and support candidates who believe in a Pittsburgh and Allegheny County for the many—not the privileged few

Running for the working class. We want candidates who are running to put people over profits, hold corporations & large “non-profits” accountable, and make housing, clean air, and clean water a right—not a privilege for those who can afford them.

Funded by the working class. We want candidates who have pledged to refuse donations from fossil fuel companies, health insurance interests, real estate interests, police unions, or corporate PACs.

Power to the working class. We want candidates who are committed to using their positions to support union organizing and tenant organizing and uplift grassroots organizing. We want candidates that know they know they can’t take on the rich and powerful alone and don’t want to, candidates that know we need power for the many—not the few.
